Mission Statement
The HBCU-CFE will serve as a unique resource center designed to facilitate, develop, implement and promote strategies and opportunities for Historically Black Colleges and Universities to:
Promote workforce development
Enhance substance abuse and mental health curriculum development
Expand student mental health and substance abuse prevention and intervention strategies
Broaden knowledge base, interest and exposure of students to evidence based mental health and substance abuse initiatives.
The HBCU-CFE, through an established HBCU network, will advance these goals by building and strengthening collaborative partnerships.
